UD Students Boogie For Children

DAYTON, Ohio -- Hundreds of University of Dayton students boogied the day and night away to make a difference in the lives of children.The 11th annual UD Dance Marathon took place at the RecPlex Center on the University’s campus beginning at 12pm on Saturday.Nearly 400 students were expected to take part in the event.Each year the Dance Marathon raises money for the Children’s Medical Center of Dayton. This year the money will be used by Dayton Children’s to purchase medical equipment for its Level III newborn intensive care unit.The Dance Marathon goes for 12 hours and ends at midnight Sunday morning.
