DAYTON, Ohio -- Police said a woman riding her bike saw a naked man near Eastwood Lake Monday afternoon and called 911.

She told officers that he was not only naked, but that he was inappropriately touching himself.

The woman told dispatchers, "He came out of the bushes as we passed and kept whistling until we turned around."

When she turned around, she said the man was naked, touching himself, and whistling. The incident happened at a time when many people are using the bike path.

Don Croy of Dayton said, "It's kind of weird."

Another bike path user from Oakwood said, "You see some interesting stuff on this bike path."

Police searched the area, but they didn't find the naked man. Sgt. Dean Vorhees, of Five River Metroparks said, "He was described as white male in his 40's with no clothes on."

Five River Metroparks officers are stepping up patrol of the bike path.

F.M. Achor of Oakwood said, "It's a fairly captive audience. There's no where you are able to get off the path and run away from him.
