More Charges For Suspect In Nurse Attack

A homeless sex offender accused of stabbing a Dayton nurse and attacking two other women in a three-month crime spree appeared in court on Tuesday.

James Cundiff, 42, faced a judge on felonious assault aggravated robbery charges. Police said he stabbed a nurse in a parking lot outside Miami Valley Hospital in October.

Cundiff is also accused of robbing and stabbing a homeless woman on South Main Street in August. He also allegedly attacked a woman on her front porch in September on North Belmonte Park.

Cundiff is a convicted sex offender who has spent 18 years in prison for rape. He is being held in jail on a $500,000 bond.
