Man Wanted In National City Bank Robbery

KETTERING, Ohio -- A man robbed the National City Bank on West Dorothy Lane at about 5 pm Thursday.The suspect is still at large as many big businesses located near the incident made finding the thief difficult, police saidLaw enforcement from Kettering, Moraine, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are still searching for the robber.The man walked in during business hours with his face completely uncovered and robbed the bank, police said.People inside the bank never spotted a weapon on the robber."He waited in line patiently, approached the teller, forwarded a note, exited bank with undisclosed amount of money," Kettering patrolman Michael Burke said.Patrons at the Applebee’s across the street saw the man fleeing the bank, followed by police cars moments later.One witness followed the robber to Wal-Mart and then across the street but lost him in the darkness, police said.
