Kettering Church Burglarized

KETTERING, Ohio -- Police in Kettering said someone broke into Apex Community Church and managed to get away with some high-tech electronic equipment.The burglary happened a few days ago at the church on Far Hills Avenue. However, this is not the first church to be burglarized this month.According to police, the burglary took a flat screen television and a laptop computer with a docking station.Officers said the burglary broke in through a stained glass window.Leah Robinson said, “That shows no respect. God’s not going to be happy about this.”Officers search the church grounds for evidence. However, they found out that the break-in happened a few days ago and was reported on Friday.This is the second church break-in in the Dayton area in less than a week.Last Friday, a break-in was reported at the East Third Street Church’s youth ministry. A computer was taken, along wit a DVD/VCR player.So far, no arrests have been made in either case.
