KETTERING, Ohio -- Police in Kettering said someone broke into Apex Community Church and managed to get away with some high-tech electronic equipment.

The burglary happened a few days ago at the church on Far Hills Avenue. However, this is not the first church to be burglarized this month.

According to police, the burglary took a flat screen television and a laptop computer with a docking station.

Officers said the burglary broke in through a stained glass window.

Leah Robinson said, “That shows no respect. God’s not going to be happy about this.”

Officers search the church grounds for evidence. However, they found out that the break-in happened a few days ago and was reported on Friday.

This is the second church break-in in the Dayton area in less than a week.

Last Friday, a break-in was reported at the East Third Street Church’s youth ministry. A computer was taken, along wit a DVD/VCR player.

So far, no arrests have been made in either case.
