Bank Robbery Suspect Turns Self In

DAYTON, Ohio -- A Kettering bank robbery suspect turned himself in to police. The robbery occurred Thursday around 5 p.m. at the National City Bank near the corner of Dixie and Dorothy Lane in Kettering.Police dusted for fingerprints, searched the area, and even used a police dog to help search for the man, who's image was caught on crystal clear surveillance pictures.Detectives had made no arrests until a break in the case came in on Sunday. Officers say that's when Billy Eugene Johnson Junior walked into the police station and turned himself in. Police say after the surveillance pictures aired on television, his family and friends urged him to call police.Johnson remains behind bars at the Kettering City jail, awaiting arraignment on Tuesday.
