Motorist Discovers Body Under Bridge

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio -- Deputies in Warren County said a 911 call alerted them to the discovery of a body along the banks of Twin Creek on Friday morning.Investigators said the woman’s body was found underneath a bridge. At this time, deputies are calling the woman’s death suspicious.Deputies said someone passing by on Chamberlain Road first discovered the body. Fire crews from Franklin Township were called to the scene.Carlisle Police and authorities from Five Rivers MetroParks were also called.Donald Pitts, who lives nearby, said, “We were putting up Christmas decorations in the house and I heard a lot of sirens.”The sound of sirens is a regular occurrence on the rural road.Pitts said, “Usually there are crashes here on the hill by the creek and things like that.”Investigators said they have a lot of questions, such as how long has the body been there.Det. Sgt. Brandon Lacy said, “We are still investigating what the manner of death is.”However, officers said they have a good idea of who the woman is.Lacy said, “There was a call in Butler County of a critical missing for a female.”Investigators said they believe that the missing woman in Butler County and that of who was found under the bridge is the same person.
