We have new information about a litter of puppies rescued from a fire in Fairborn last Friday.Nine Doberman Pinscher puppies, only one week old, initially survived the fire at a home on Ramona Drive.Firefighters said the man who lived there went back into the fire several times to save the dogs. All the puppies survived but the mother died in the fire. The family that owns the puppies now tells us that three of the nine puppies died over the weekend due to breathing or feeding problems. The remaining six dogs are now stable and seem to be doing better with the help of a distressed animal expert in Troy. The family is still looking at options because the house was considered a total loss.
