Man Arrested In Drug Investigation

Members of the ACE Task Force in Greene County are investigating a two-county drug ring.

Police said they found drugs inside homes in Miamisburg and Beavercreek, and one man has been taken into custody.

News Center 7 was there as the Greene County ACE Task Force carried evidence from a condo on East Summit Ridge Road.

Ashley Wedig who lives nearby said, “I’m not used to seeing cop cars. It makes me concerned because there are a lot of kids in the neighborhood here. I don’t like it.”

Police said an undercover investigation led them to the home and Raymond Richardson. "He lives in a very nice area and the only income we've found is trafficking in drugs," said Bruce May with the ACE Task Force.

Police said Richardson’s drug of choice was marijuana, which they said they found inside his condo along with drug paraphernalia.

May said, “This individual receives bulk shipments and he sells them to people mostly in Montgomery and Greene counties.”

Neighbor Ashley Wedig said, "I wouldn't expect this at all."

Wedig is not alone. Police said many people would never picture this home as a drug house.
