Teenager Faces Judge For Bringing Gun To School

BROOKVILLE, Ohio -- A teenager accused of bringing a gun to school faced a judge on Thursday. Prosecutors said he had a list of targets that included school administrators.
Police said faculty members at Brookville High School wrestled the gun away from Cody Freeders, 16, on Wednesday after he pulled the weapon out of his gym bag.His mother, Kimberly Pinney, said her son was a victim of bullying. She said Cody reported it several times to police and school officials, but never got anywhere.Freeders will stay in Juvenile Detention until his court hearing that is scheduled for next week. He faces charges including carrying a concealed weapon and felony assault.
