Culberson Search

Police searching for the remains of a missing Blanchester woman make an interesting discovery.

For the past week, investigators have been digging out the floor of a Brown County barn.

They are hoping to find the body of Carrie Culberson, she disappeared eight years ago.

Thursday, searchers found what could be a hair in the barn's rafters.

They can't be sure it's human, so it will be analyzed at the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab.

Investigators will return to the property Friday to continue digging.

Carrie Culberson's mother says their efforts continue to give her hope.

A total of five different cadaver dogs have positively hit in the areas.

Chemists will now be brought in to analyze soil and water samples.
