LEBANON, Ohio -- A Warren County judge issued a gag order Monday in the Vickie Barton murder case, preventing the prosecution and the defense from discussing the case with the news media.The 1995 murder of Vickie Barton was reopened last year by the Cold Case Squad. Then, last month, Vickie's husband, former police Lt. Jim Barton, was indicted in connection with the crime.The judge hopes the gag order will improve the chances of finding an impartial jury for Barton's trial.
