DAYTON, Ohio -- An early morning lightning strike sparked a fire at a local apartment complex. The blaze broke out in the building on East Bruce Street in Dayton.

Fire investigators said a lightning bolt struck the roof of the building and started the fire inside the attic.

Everyone inside the building was evacuated and the fire was quickly contained.
