Honda is gearing up for a big celebration. In just over a week, it will be Honda of America's 25th Anniversary.

On Sept. 10, 1979, the first Honda motorcycle came off the assembly line. Assembly plants making cars and engines came later to Ohio, bringing thousands of new jobs to the state.

Honda plans a pair of anniversary celebrations on Sept. 9 and 10, including an event at the statehouse in Columbus.
