A 20-year-old man is dead after being thrown from a car early Tuesday morning in the 4700 block of Burkhardt Drive.

Fatal AccidentAuthorities said all three people inside the vehicle were ejected after the car they were riding in went out of control and flipped. Investigators believe the three people were between the ages of 18 and 20.

The first officers on the scene found Christopher Buelow, 20, dead at the scene. They believe he was riding in the backseat of the vehicle. Authorities said a male and female inside the car were taken to Miami Valley Hospital and were alert and conscious.

Investigators are trying to determine the exact path that the car took. However, they said it is obvious that the car left the road several times because there are tire tracks in several yards. Authorities also believe the vehicle hit a utility pole and took out a fire hydrant.

Lt. John Bardun said he believes high-speed may have been a factor due to the condition of the car and the debris at the scene.
