FAIRBORN, Ohio -- Police in Fairborn arrested a man Thursday they said tried to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex.

Authorities said the whole thing happened fast and now a 42-year-old man from Dayton is behind bars in Greene County.

Investigators said 24 hours ago, Det. Lee Cyr began chatting online with a man from Dayton. On Thursday, the two met and Cyr arrested the man.

Cyr called for backup from an officer in an unmarked cruiser. Cyr said the man was expecting to meet a 15-year-old girl.

At this time, the man's name is not being released because he has not been officially charged. He is being held in the Fairborn City Jail.
