Search Underway For Man Who Attacked Postal Worker, Stole Mail
US Postal inspectors are asking for help to catch a crook they say assaulted a postal worker and took off with his mail.
The crime happened the afternoon of May 14 at Fourth and Jefferson streets in downtown Dayton.
The mail carrier was knocked to the ground.
The suspect took his keys and stole his car, which was full of mail.
Postal inspectors would like to hear from those who may have had their mail taken.
Inspectors are looking for any victims who may be missing anything they expected in the mail, including checks and credit cards.
