Police in Springboro are searching for a man they say is stealing cars from a local gas station.

In fact, police said the suspect drove off with someone's truck Thursday morning from the Speedway on state Route 73 at Pioneer Boulevard.

Officers are concerned about this crime because the truck contained several guns.

The thief was captured on tape by surveillance camera.

Police said over the past three months he has stolen four to five cars from the gas station.

The truck taken was recovered Thursday night.

The guns, worth thousands of dollars, were locked up in the tool box.

Police said each time a vehicle has been taken the owner has left the car running.

Officers warn never to leave your vehicle running, even if you are only going to be away from your car for only a minute.
