Authorities Investigate Animal Cruelty In Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio -- Investigators said they are working on a case of animal cruelty in Dayton.On Sunday, people spotted a dog hanging by a rope from a second-story window. Authorities said the dog’s owner did not have insurance on the dogs, which is a requirement of the county for pit bulls.The owner of the dog will be charged with neglect and cruelty. If convicted, the owner could spend six months in jail and face thousands of dollars in fines.
