Dayton Flight Bound For Newark Forced To Turn Around

DAYTON, Ohio -- A flight leaving Dayton International Airport on Tuesday night was forced to return to Dayton because of an unruly passenger.Airport spokesperson Sharon Sears said the plane was bound for Newark, NJ, and a passenger refused to turn off his cellphone.The plane returned to Dayton and police interviewed the flight crew. The passenger was removed from the plane and detained for interfering with a flight crew -- a federal offense.The plane resumed its flight. The FBI was called in to investigate.
