445th Airlift Wing Returns From Gulf Coast

WPAFB, Ohio -- Nine members of the 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base returned from the Gulf Coast late Thursday night.They used their C-141 cargo plane to transport patients from New Orleans to Dallas. They took 10 newborns, and more than 100 people who needed medical help.Officials with the group said this is the first time the airlift wing has transported wounded people in the United States.
