The owner of Tom Raper RVs in Richmond, Ind., is doing his part to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency help storm victims along the Gulf Coast.

He is donating hundreds of vehicles to help house people in the hurricane-ravaged areas.

There are more than 900 vehicles, everything form recreational vehicles to trailers going to the Gulf Coast to help FEMA provide temporary housing for hurricane victims.

RVs and trailers of every size are traveling at a rate of 100 a week from Tom Raper’s showrooms to the Gulf Coast. The owner, Dave Bane, said it’s his way to be able to help those in need.

FEMA is in desperate need of RVs, campers and trailers. Tom Raper’s parts manager drove one of the vehicles to the Gulf last week. He said the need for campers and trailers is great.
