Car Slams Into Kettering Thrift Store

KETTERING, Ohio -- Authorities said a car slammed into a Kettering thrift store and caused a lot of damage.The accident happened around 7 p.m. Monday at the Harvest Youth Ministries Thrift Store near the intersection of Wilmington and Dorothy Lane.Police said the driver lost control of the car and struck two stopped vehicles, which caused a tire on the driver’s car to fly off.The driver of the car and one of the other drivers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.Authorities said alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
