Husband In Home Invasion Team Avoids Jail Time

TROY, Ohio -- Authorities said the husband in a husband and wife home invasion team avoided jail time, while his wife will head to jail.Jason Huff, of Fletcher, got three years probation for his part in the crime committed with his wife Amy. She was sentenced three weeks ago to a year in prison.The judge ordered Jason Huff to get a high school equivalency GED and gave him a week to find a job. He is the father of two children.The scheme involved his wife pretending to be stranded and gaining access to homes, where she would steal money and credit cards. Jason Huff apologized for the crimes.He was warned that if he violates the terms of his probation, he faces 11 months in prison.
