DAYTON, Ohio -- Three suspects accused in connection with a botched home invasion and shooting appeared before a judge Tuesday.

Angela Walton, Devon Shultz and Peter Roach all pleaded not guilty. Authorities said they took part in a robbery and shooting.

Investigators said on June 24 at a home on Lynnaway Drive in Harrison Township, Walton tried robbing a homeowner after she claimed her car had broken down.

Authorities said the victim was shot twice during the incident.
