Logan Co. Coach Arrested On Sex Charges

LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio -- Deputies in Logan County said they arrested a high school basketball coach.

James Edward Zerkle, 35, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student under the age of 16. Zerkle is a coach at Riverside High School.

Authorities said the charges stem from reported sexual conduct with a female student from November 2004 to March 2005. Detectives are checking to see if there are any more alleged victims.
