Investigators: Man On Bicycle Runs Stop Sign And Hits Car
A man ran a stop sign on a bicycle and hit a car Friday afternoon, according to police.
It happened on McArther Avenue in Dayton.
Police said the man failed to stop and ran into a car that was passing by.
The woman driving the car told police she never saw the man or the bike.
Police said the bicyclist may have been distracted.
Investigators said they found that he had a couple of backpacks with a cage and some kind of animal and that he was wearing headphones.
The driver of the car will not be charged.
The cyclist was listed in serious condition.
