Authorities said a man has now been arrested in connection with the brutal attacks of two women inside a Warren County model home.

David Hopper, of Burlington, Ky., was arrested Thursday night. Authorities said they tracked him down after he pawned rings from one of the victims at a shop in Newport, Ky., on Thursday afternoon.

An employee at the pawn shop called authorities in Warren County to let investigators know that the rings were at the store. With the help of the Boone County, Ky., Sheriff’s Office, deputies went to Hopper’s home to take him into custody.

The Warren County sheriff said Hopper tried to get away from authorities in Kentucky when they went to his home, but he was arrested at a store a short time later.

At this time, there is no word on when he will be brought back to Ohio to face charges.

On Saturday, two women working inside a model home in Franklin Township were sexually assaulted and robbed. Since then, six Warren County deputies have been working the case around the clock.
