Cut Down Trees Prompt Police Investigation

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Police in Butler Township are trying to find out what happened to about 40 acres of trees of Old Springfield Road.Police said there is a lot involved in the case and will take a couple of weeks to get all of the information sorted out.Investigators said it appears that someone cut down up to 200 trees without the owner's permission.Police are looking into the possibility that a lumber company contracted to cut down some trees might have something to do with the cut trees.
