Car Hits Train At Springfield Railroad Crossing

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- There was quite a mess at a railroad crossing in Springfield on Thursday.Police said it appears the driver of a car hit the train. The driver said, “I guess I was too impatient and the train wasn’t all the way done and I went through and I hit the back of the car and crashed.”The train tore up the front of the driver’s car, but the he was not injured.The driver of the car was ticketed for a rail crossing violation and driving under suspension.
