CPSC reminds consumers of heater recalls

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is sending out a warning about formally recalled winter heating products that may still be in your home.

The Meijer brand Touch Point Oscillating Heater was recalled in July because the heaters can reportedly short out, posing a fire hazard.

The Lasko portable Heathers were sold at Sam's Club stores and were recalled because they can overheat and melt their electrical connections.

And, the Flow Pro Heaters sold at Walmart stores can malfunction, resulting in overheating, smoking, burning and melting.

If you have any of these products, don't use them and call the CPSC's hotline for more information at -1-800-638-2772.
