Dates: Dec. 5-27, 2008 Cost: Free Description: This seasonal event is billed as a traditional Dickens holiday complete with Victorian street strollers, horse drawn carriages, carolers and live nativity scenes. Don’t miss the evening luminary display as 1,300 luminaries light up Main Street. The festivities also include Dickens characters, community Christmas tree and Tuba Christmas. Date: Dec 5, 2008 Description: A chill in the air, the aroma of fresh cedar, luminaries reflecting off the water, a crackling bonfire in the woods, hot chocolate and nibblies; all this adds to the romance of a holiday evening in the country. Historic Lebanon's 19th Annual Christmas Festival and Horse-Drawn Carriage Parade Downtown Lebanon, Ohio

Dates: Dec 6, 2008 Times: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Cost: Free Description: The Christmas Festival is showcased by two horse-drawn carriage parades with more than 145 horse-drawn carriages. There is a 1 p.m. parade and a 7 p.m. parade, the evening parade is illuminated with candlelight and gaslight. Yes, a few of the Viennese standards will be played, but Neal will spice up the roster with favorites from the traditions of the minuet, ballroom, folk, tango, jazz, bossa nova, flamenco, hoedown, jitterbug, tap and saltarello styles.
