Christmas Lights Photo Contest

HOW TO ENTER: You must be 18 or older to enter and win. Only one entry per family per day. Contestants may enter beginning December 06, 2009. Entries will be accepted through midnight January 4, 2010. WHIO-TV and all participating sponsors and entities are not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for interruptions in online service.

HOW TO PLAY: Simply download your Holiday Light Display pictures onto whiotv.com’s iwitness 7 to enter. A WHIO-TV representative will call and/or email the winner.

PRIZES: Winners will win a night at the Courtyard Marriott of Beavercreek and dinner for two valued at $160.00. If WHIO-TV is unable to reach the winners by telephone based on the information provided by contestant within 76 hours, an alternate winner will be selected from eligible entries. WHIO-TV reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be identified by two forms of identification (one to be a photo ID) in order to receive the prize. The prizes are not exchangeable or otherwise transferable or redeemable.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Employees and their immediate family members of WHIO-TV, Cox Communications, and other participating sponsors, their affiliates, promotions and advertising agencies, successors and assignees are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations. All aspects of this contest, including scheduling and the awarding of prizes are subject to force majeure (Acts of God). Participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless WHIO-TV, Cox Communications, affiliates, franchisees, assignees, successors and prize suppliers from damages arising out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of prizes received during this contest. By participating, entrants agree to the use of their name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation and to abide by the official rules and decisions of the official judges which shall be final in all respects. After notification, winner is required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity before receiving the prize or it will be forfeited. Winners are randomly chosen.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received prior to the prize drawing date.
