Cox Arboretum To Receive Funds From Restaurant Week

DAYTON, Ohio —

Cox Arboretum Foundation will receive one dollar of each meal purchased during Restaurant Week when more than 40 local restaurants will offer three-course meals for $20.07 during the week of Jan. 28 to Feb. 2.

The Cox Arboretum Foundation helps fund the work of Cox Arboretum & Gardens MetroPark, a facility of Five Rivers MetroParks. Education is at the heart of the Arboretum. Through diverse programming and learning opportunities – from interpretive signage and information on the grounds, to unique programs, exhibits and events – Cox Arboretum fulfills its mission of helping people grow in their knowledge of flowers, plants, woodlands, wildlife and the conservation sciences. The 189-acre landscape arboretum provides a living laboratory and a recreational opportunity for visitors of all ages to escape and experience natural beauty.

Restaurant Week is coordinated by the Miami Valley Restaurant Association. White Night Gala, a kickoff to Restaurant Week, will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 7-11p.m. at Cox Arboretum & Gardens MetroPark. The event will include food from 10 Restaurant Week participants, drinks provided by Finlandia Vodka, live ice carving, a chocolate fountain and live music. Tickets are $100 or $75 for Cox Arboretum Foundation members. For more information about Restauraunt Week and White Night Gala, or to purchase tickets for White Night Gala, go to themvra.org.
