1 Injured In Car, Dump Truck Collision

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio —

Police said a driver was critically injured in Huber Heights after colliding with a dump truck.

The collision happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Route 4 and Lower Valley Pike.

Officers arrived and found one person was trapped in the wreckage. Emergency crews were able to get the victim removed.

Careflight was called in and took Michael Little, 18, of Tipp City to Miami Valley Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Witnesses said two dump trucks were sitting stationary on southbound Route 4 waiting to turn left onto Lower Valley Pike. They said the first truck turned and failed to yeild to northbound traffic, and collided with the Honda being driven by Little.

Charges are pending.
