10 preschoolers aboard Little Miami bus involved in accident

By Justin McClelland

No injuries have been reported after a Little Miami Local Schools bus was involved in a one-vehicle accident today around 11:20 a.m.

The bus had just left Harlan-Butlerville Primary School for a mid-day preschool run when the bus went off the side of Foster-Maineville Road, colliding with a telephone pole.

Ten preschool students who were on Bus 32 at the time of the crash were not injured. The bus was equipped with seat belts, and all students were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The bus driver was also uninjured.

Officers from Hamilton Twp., Warren County, and the Ohio Highway Patrol, along with other emergency responders reported to the scene. No one was transported to local hospitals.

Parents of the students on the bus were notified of the crash, and several students were released to their parents to be transported home, the district said.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Hamilton Twp. Police Department and other agencies.
