2 detained possibly connected to reported home invasion

HARRISON TWP., Montgomery Co. —

While nothing has been officially confirmed by Sheriff’s deputies, two men have been detained for their possible role in a reported home invasion on Heather Hollow Drive early Monday morning.

According to emergency dispatch traffic, the homeowner reported that he was duct taped during the home invasion, but later released by the suspects. Deputies on scene would neither confirm, nor deny that the victim was duct taped.

The homeowner told deputies several items were taken from the home, including an iPad, Kindle, cell phone and possibly cash from inside a safe, according to reports.

Authorities located one person of interest on Burgess Avenue, who had a Kindle in his possesion, but the person was only detained by deputies and has not been arrested.

Deputies, with assistance from Englewood Police, also located a second person of interest behind Tim Horton’s on South Main Street in Englewood. The second person was also detained, but has not been arrested.

Deputies said detectives would be handling the investigation and official details of the reported home invasion could be available later Monday morning.
