TROTWOOD —

A mother and her juvenile daughter were injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday that temporarily blocked Hoover Avenue at Scottswood Road.

Emergency crews responded at 3:30 p.m. A car apparently went off the road and struck a tree.

Medics transported the mother and child to hospitals for treatment of injuries.

Their injuries were not considered life threatening, according to Trotwood police.

Police cited the wet road conditions as a possible factor, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Hoover Avenue reopened at approximately 4:10 p.m.
