XENIA TWP. —

Two men were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Thursday night.

Police and emergency crews responded at approximately 9:40 p.m. to the 1400 block of U.S. 68 south near Winchester Road.

A work truck, with a ladder on top and signs indicating a masonry company, crashed and rolled there and two males were removed from the wreckage and taken to Miami Valley Hospital, according to Sgt. Mark McNeely of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

The driver has been identified as James Thompson, 21, of Beavercreek, according to troopers. He has been released from the hospital. Thompson’s father Michael Thompson, 52, of Beavercreek, was the passenger in the vehicle and was in fair condition at 4 a.m. Friday.

Troopers said alcohol likely played a role in the crash and James Thompson could face charges of OVI and failure to control.
