CLARK COUNTY, Ohio —

Authorities said a Tecumseh High School math teacher was injured in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 40 and Tecumseh Road early Friday morning, according to the victim’s wife.

Eleina Foster told News Center 7 her husband, Stephen Foster, was driving on U.S. 40 when a trash truck collided with his vehicle. Foster was transported to Springfield Regional Medical Hospital with minor injuries, according to his wife.

Emergency responders and troopers responded to the crash around 6:30 a.m. Friday. At this time, it is unclear who is at fault in the crash, which was reportedly blocking the westbound lanes of U.S. 40 at the Tecumseh Road intersection.

Foster was reportedly on his way to his job at the high school.

The crash remains under investigation.
