Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey and Auglaize County Sheriff Al Solomon divided the task force into two divisions a couple of years ago in anticipating of an escalating drug problem in the country.

Ten of the traffickers are being held in the Mercer County Detention Facility. The sheriff’s office and the Celina Police Department have focused their efforts on pharmaceutical, heroin and cocaine traffickers in the Celina area.

Police departments from Fort Recovery, St. Henry, Coldwater and Rockford have all provided additional support to the task force.

The following were arrested in Mercer County on Wednesday: * David L. Dorman, 39, of Celina. He was arrested on one count of trafficking in marijuana and one count of trafficking in cocaine. Additional charges may be filed, deputies said.

* Jeremy Greene, 34, of Rockford. He was arrested on one count of trafficking in heroin, one count of counterfeit controlled substance and one county of trafficking marijuana.

* Dustin Nusbaum, 19, 111 of Celina. He was arrested on one count of trafficking in Oxycodone, one count trafficking in marijuana and one count of trafficking in Alprazolam.

* Scott Morgan, 35, of Celina. He was arrested on one count of trafficking in heroin (in the vicinity of a juvenile), one count of trafficking in heroin and one count of an offense involving a counterfeit controlled substance. Morgan was arrested in Sidney by Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies assisting Mercer County.

* Linda A. Cordova, age 46, 825 West Bank Road, Celina, one count of trafficking in Hydrocodone, a felony of the fifth degree

* Ed Garland, 26, of Celina. He was arrest on one count of trafficking in Hydrocodone. He is also wanted in Darke County on a felony probation violation involving a domestic dispute.

* Jerry Aller, 56, of Celina. He was arrested on one count of trafficking in methadone, one count of trafficking in vicodin and one count of offenses involving counterfeit controlled substances.

* Aaron Rodriguez, 22. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail on one count of trafficking in Oxycodone.

* Tonya Thompson, 40, of Mendon. She was arrested on one count of trafficking marijuana.

* Sherri L. Kupper, 31, of Celina. She was arrested on one count of trafficking in Oxycodone.

The purpose of the partnerships and task forces is to target traffickers, those who facilitate drug abuse. While those who abuse drugs are a menace to society, it is those who sell the drugs that enable people to feed their addiction, which in turn leads to higher crime rates.
