3 Break Into Dayton Church To Play Basketball

DAYTON, Ohio —

Two teens and an 11-year-old broke into a Dayton church around 3 a.m. today and were surprised by a security guard, who held one of them until police arrived.

Authorities apprehended another suspect a short time later and are still looking for the third.

The security guard at Peace Fellowship Lutheran Church on East Third Street said he heard the sounds of basketball being played and went to investigate.

"They were shocked," Ken Carman said of surprising the trio. "That almost made it fun, just seeing how shocked they were."
