MOOREFIELD TWP., Clark County —

Three people were injured Tuesday when their sport utility vehicle struck a semitrailer at a busy intersection.

Rescue crews responded shortly after 7 p.m. to the area of Moorefield and Urbana roads.

The SUV rolled and landed on its top in a ditch.

One adult and two children suffered what are believed to be minor injuries and were taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol trooper on scene.

What caused the crash was not immediately clear.

OSP continues to investigate to determine who was at fault.
