4 arrested for drug trafficking

FRANKLIN —

Four Franklin men were arrested this morning as part of “Operation Downtown Crack-Down,” according to a press release from the Franklin Police Department.

David H. Mullins, 45; James P. Barrett, 64; John Shearer, 29; and Justin Abner, 34, were arrested on drug trafficking charges, according to police officials.

Additionally, Franklin Police Chief Russ Whitman said that Alan Springfield Sr., 55, has turned himself into police following the other arrests. Police also arrested David M.A. Pace, 42, who was currently incarcerated at the Warren County Jail, according to the release.

The Franklin Police Department and the Warren County Tactical Response Team combined in serving the search warrants in the city of Franklin.
