8-Mile Foot Chase Ends In Arrest In Darke Co.

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio —

Deputies in Darke County said a Camden man was arrested after an 8-mile foot chase.

On Wednesday afternoon, deputies were called to 4066 U.S. Route 127 in regards to a possible domestic situation. Deputies arrived and learned that Jeremy McIntosh, 32, had fled on foot prior to the deputies arriving.

The investigation revealed that McIntosh had three outstanding warrants. They said two of the warrants were out of Preble County for failure to appear on a telephone harassment complaint and another was issue by the city of Eaton for telephone harassment.

A third warrant is out of Butler County for a parole violation, with the initial violation being child neglect - non support.

Darke County deputies followed McIntosh's footprints in the snow and was tracked for more than eight miles. He was finally taken into custody in the area of State Route 722 west of Castine. McIntosh was charged with resisting arrest.
