SPRINGBORO —

The Coffman YMCA received a check to help kids from a store grand opening. A new location opening today came with a surprise for a local YMCA.

Gordon Logan, CEO & founder of Sportclips said, “we’re just really pleased the 1,000th store opening is here in the lovely community of Springboro.” Logan was in Springboro today welcoming in the first customers to the 782 North Main Street store. He also handed over a check for 10-thousand dollars to the Coffman YMCA .

To help with their kids’ programs which is really something dear to our heart. David Thompson, Group VP, YMCA of greater Dayton said, “We raise money so kids and family members that are local here that are low income can get involved with the YMCA.”

Coaches and players from Wright State University soccer team were on site and provided soccer instruction outside the store during today’s opening.

Georgetown, TX-based Sport Clips is the nation’s largest men’s and boys’ hair care provider with more than 1,000 locations in 44 states.
