Now, we are learning more about his criminal history.

Gibson was arrested Wednesday night after deputies said he attacked a woman he met at a Fairborn bar. They said he drove her to a field of Snively Road and raped her.

Capt. Eric Spicer said, "She was violently, physically and sexually assaulted."

The woman called for help and Gibson was arrested a few hours later during a traffic stop in Yellow Springs.

Prosecutors recommended a $75,000 cash bond.

Judge Barber said, "They're basing this on the violent nature of the crimes and your prior criminal history."

We have discovered Gibsons' criminal history includes a 2004 conviction for abduction out of Kettering.

The Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office also confirms that Gibson was convicted of one count of rape in 1986. He served prison time but was not labeled a registered sex offender because that was not required until July of 1997.

Alisha Hitte said Gibson should have never been free to commit another crime. "It should be a one strike, you're out. That should be all it takes," said Hitte.

Hitte also said if Gibson is convicted again and becomes a repeat offender, she has no sympathy for him. "I don't think they should ever get out. In some cases they take away someone's innocence. I don't think they should ever get out," Hitte said.

Gibson will remain in jail unless he can come up with $75,000.

A grand jury is expected to hear the evidence against him in the next few weeks.
