WEST ALEXANDRIA, Ohio —

A pregnant woman was transported via Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital after a crash at the intersection of Rebecca Drive and U.S. Route 35 late Saturday night. Two teens were transported to an area hospital for treatment as well.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol told WHIO TV a vehicle with 3 teens were driving on Rebecca Drive and failed to yield to a vehicle with two adults heading Eastbound on U.S. Rt. 35.

Two of the three teens from one vehicle were injured; Only the pregnant female from the other vehicle was flown to Miami Valley Hospital for precautionary measures of her pregnancy. There was no word whether the other adult was injured. WHIO TV learned that the baby is fine and the mother sustained minor neck and back injuries.

Preliminary investigation shows that the teen driver may be cited for failure to yield.
