Antioch College Future Still Uncertain

YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio —

Trustees at Antioch College called their alumni but they still have no news to share about the future of the school.

Earlier this summer, the school said it was losing money and was going to close in the spring, in hopes of reopening in 2012.

Alumni have since raised $18 million over the past few months in an effort to save the college from closing.

No decision was made Tuesday about keeping the school open but another conference call is expected at the end of the week.

In recent weeks, the school said it would need $50 million to keep the school open.
