DAYTON —

Police evacuated the Ridge View Apartments late Wednesday night after officers discovered a mobile methamphedamine lab inside one of the apartments, according to police.

A woman was living at the apartment, 4639 Frederick Pike, where the meth lab was discovered, but police did not take her into custody, because they don’t believe she was related to the lab, officers said.

Police arrested John Leffler, 27, unrelated to the meth lab, at the address for possession of drug paraphrenalia and he was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, police said.

Everyone was able to return to their apartments and the incident remains under investigation by the Dayton Police Department.
